The motto for the brand stems from an OutOfBoundsException error in computer programming. While an error in code is frowned upon, being an exception in life, society and what you do shouldn't be.
The back side Japanese says “ 精一杯生きる (seiippai ikiru) or “Live life to the fullest”. The right side sleeve text is the exact error message displayed when a program exception is thrown, though I edited it to say “Exception in thread society”. The left sleeve says “Out of Bounds” in Katakana.
